Shopping List

SHOPPPPINGG!!! I love to shop. Shopping is a good retail therapy. For me, as long as I see the word SALE, my eyes start to shine and my legs will be walking to that shop without me even realising it. However, that being said, we also need MONEY to shop. We tend to overspend every time we go shopping which is really creating a huge hole in our budget. If you don’t have a budget, then you are in a big trouble.

However, let's not go into that in this article. That is reserved for another article coming soon. Once you have a budget, you will want to stick to it and seeing the word “SALE” in every shopping centre is really not helping when it comes to budgeting. So what do we do? 

Well, in this article we will talk about creating a shopping list. Do one before going shopping. Why? You may ask. By doing a shopping list, you might avoid overspending. You will have to have the discipline to buy things that are necessary and not what you are tempted to buy while doing your rounds of shopping. The word “SALE” or “70% discount” might be everywhere but you will have to set your mind to stick to the shopping list that you have created before leaving your house.

There are many applications which you can download into your mobile phone. However, you don’t need to do all that. You can just do a simple shopping list by listing the things that you will need to buy on a piece of paper before heading out to the stores.

It doesn't matter how you create your list. The most important thing is to make yourself a shopping list before you go shopping to avoid overspending.
